Operational integrity

The Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) is our system for managing operational integrity. It is a framework designed and developed to identify potential hazards and manage potential risks within the sites where we operate.

The Operations Integrity Management System  provides a systematic, structured, and disciplined approach to all operational lines and allows for periodic evaluation of progress and conduct of activities, especially in the fields of health, safety, and the environment. The system also ensures involvement and integration with the communities in which we operate.

OIMS is an integral part of daily operational processes and establishes a common framework, applied worldwide, that every operational facility is required to comply with. Over the time, it has become part of the culture of ExxonMobil Group and the driver for its business units to improve operational reliability and reduce potential risks.

The effectiveness of OIMS is continuously analyzed and evaluated. Therefore, over time and with a view to continuous improvement, it has incorporated behavior-based Health, Safety, and Environment management processes (Loss Prevention System Behavior Based Process).
