Natural disasters and ongoing global conflicts are threatening the well-being of children worldwide. In Hong Kong, the mental health of our children and adolescents also garners increasing concerns. To help tackle this challenge, we are thrilled to have the support of 30 colleagues and their families and friends who participated in the 15th UNICEF Charity Run on November 5 at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Sunny Bay, where they promoted physical and mental resilience through steps and sweat.
UNICEF Charity Run was initiated in 2006, and this year’s UNICEF Charity Run was dedicated to making the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being a reality for every child. SDG 3, which aims to ensure healthy lives for all and to avoid preventable deaths, is related to one of ExxonMobil’s sustainability approaches. ExxonMobil Hong Kong is proud to be a first-time supporter of this event, helping to create a supportive environment for the development of children and adolescents.
