A new education approach

Persada Kindergarten in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java, Indonesia, teaches children fundamental skills and nurtures creativity.

Supported by the Semai Benih Bangsa initiative and developed through our community program in partnership with the Indonesian Heritage Foundation (IHF), it introduces interactive and character-based learning models to early childhood education centers and has trained hundreds of teachers in the region.

The program has also supported Persada Kindergarten in improving facilities, including a library and an early childhood education center.

A homecoming

The opportunities we’re creating are empowering people to return to their hometowns from big cities like Jakarta and build businesses that strengthen local economies.

Niken Savitri, a Bojonegoro native, once worked in Jakarta with charities and non-profit organizations. But as our presence in Bojonegoro grew, she saw new potential and moved back, starting a locally run events company called ARKA.

Niken became an ExxonMobil vendor, and during COVID-19, supported our food assistance program, delivering locally produced rice to 2,000 underprivileged households. This initiative also created a market for local farmers, helping sustain livelihoods and strengthen the economy during challenging times.
