What would it take to reduce 80% of energy-related CO₂ emissions?

Eighty percent of energy-related global CO₂ emissions come from two sectors: heavy industry and heavy-duty transport. The challenge this presents is substantial: these vital sectors include facilities like power plants, steel mills, and oil refineries, and modes of transport such as ships, trucks and planes.
