Connection May 2023
This month’s Connection focuses on the latest Mobil news across Australia and New Zealand.
The Product Solutions team recently participated in Bioenergy Australia’s Renewable Fuels Week conference, sponsoring the session titled “Where do renewable fuels sit in the energy transition?”, where they discussed the pathway lower emission fuels can provide to help enable emission reductions.
Mobil's largest diesel vessel was recently received at Port Botany and Gellibrand Wharf, signalling a new era of efficiency enabled by access to the deepest water ports in Australia as well as additional storage. The new delivery route continues to strengthen Mobil’s reliable and efficient supply chain in the competitive markets of Melbourne and Sydney.
In this edition of Connection, you can also read about our operations across the Altona Terminal in our quarterly bulletin.
We continue to give back to our local community, recently supporting the Yarraville Community Centre’s Nourish Project, a program providing healthy cooked meals to local community members experiencing food insecurity.
In New Zealand, a group from the Mobil Oil New Zealand’s Auckland team joined Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ) for a day of tree rescue work, as part of our longstanding relationship with CVNZ. The New Zealand team also spent some time at the KidsCan warehouse, helping to pack food to be sent to schools throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
We hope you enjoy this edition of Connection.
