Legislative decree 24/2023 – Whistleblowing

To further strengthen the culture of ethics and transparency within companies and to adapt to the regulations introduced by Legislative Decree no. 24/2023 (Decree), Esso Italiana and its affiliates have adopted, by resolution of the Boards of Directors, a Whistleblowing Policy compliant with the indications of the Decree.

The Whistleblowing Policy explains what information needs to be included in a report and how to submit it. It also details who handles the reports, how they check if the report is valid, and how they protect both the person making the report and the person being reported. Additionally, it outlines the penalties for serious violations or for not following the whistleblowing rules.
