Community investments from the Corporation, Foundation, employees and annuitants totaled more than $3.2 million in 2024 with a focus on education, workforce development, civic/community initiatives and safety, health and environment. In 2024, we supported more than 75 local nonprofits.

2024 investments at a glance

  • North Baton Rouge Training Initiative (NBRITI)

    In 2024, we invested in expanding NBRITI to include process technology. More than 650 individuals have graduated from NBRITI since 2012.
  • High School Internship Program

    We invest in our workforce at all stages of students’ careers. During the summer, approximately 40 local high school students participate in craft internships while making a competitive wage through our High School Internship program.
  • ExxonMobil Engineering Scholars Programs

    ExxonMobil’s LSU Engineering Scholars provides mentorship and support for underrepresented students pursuing engineering degrees.
  • DRIVE Minority Business Accelerator

    Thanks to a grant from ExxonMobil, the Baton Rouge Area Chamber launched the Drive Minority Business Accelerator, a year-long program to provide minority business owners with the tools they need for success. The DRIVE Accelerator program graduated their second cohort of business owners in 2024.
  • Baton Rouge General Mobile Health Unit

    BRG Care on the Go, supported with a contribution from ExxonMobil, is a mobile health united that offers primary and urgent care services, wellness exams, on-site testing, vaccines and more in a comfortable setting at convenient locations throughout North Baton Rouge.
