ExxonMobil together with Nam Phong Energy Group presented scholarship funds to students in Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen province

Khon Kaen – The management of ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand, along with Nam Phong Energy Group donated 310,000 baht in scholarship funds to support students with excellent academic records who need financial assistance in Nam Phong district, Khon Kaen province.

Suda Ninvoraskul (2nd row, 6th right), the managing director of ExxonMobil Limited and Warathum Tungittiplakorn (2nd row, 4th left), vice president of ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Khorat Inc., as host for this year’s event, together with Nam Phong Energy Group presented 189 scholarships to students with excellent academic records who require financial assistance for the academic year 2024.  The ceremony was chaired by Siriwat Pinigpanich (2nd row, 6th left), vice governor of Khon Kaen province at the Nam Phong District Auditorium.

ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Khorat Inc. initiated this program in 1997 and was later joined by Nam Phong Energy Group. The primary aim is to provide financial support to students with excellent academic and behavioral performance. Over 6,000 scholarships have been awarded so far during the past 27 years. Students at the primary education level will receive 1,500 Baht each, while those at the secondary and vocational levels will receive 2,000 Baht each.

The Nam Phong Energy Group includes ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Khorat Inc., Nam Phong Power Plant, PTT Public Company Limited, PTTEP Company Limited and Apico (Khorat) LLC.
