Bangkok — ExxonMobil Limited continues its commitment to strengthening Thailand’s human capital by supporting education for the 43rd year through the “ExxonMobil Rattanakosin Bicentennial Education Fund.” For the 2025 academic year, the company awarded 20 scholarships totaling 400,000 baht to undergraduate students with outstanding academic performance who need financial assistance, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields that are critical to national development and the future energy transition.

Established in 1982 through collaboration between ExxonMobil and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the fund has provided over 2,200 scholarships totaling more than 17.8 million baht. The initiative has helped students across the country complete their studies and move into stable careers.

Developing youth – A foundation for the future of energy

Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin, Public and Government Affairs Manager at ExxonMobil Limited, said the fund aims to support students facing financial challenges so they can complete their education and pursue their ambitions.

“Many students struggle with family responsibilities and financial pressure. This support not only helps relieve their expenses but also gives them confidence that there are adults who believe in their abilities. When they grow into quality citizens, we hope they will give back to society,” Dr. Taweesak said.
