This month’s Connection highlights the changes underway to finalise the transition to one Melbourne Terminal, including the commissioning of a new control room at Mobil’s Yarraville Terminal.

Mobil Oil Australia’s Retail Fuels team proudly hosted the second annual Retail Conference in April this year, held at Crown Metropol in Melbourne. The two-day event kicked off with an awards night and a dinner celebrating achievements over the past year.

We have an update from our Long Island Point Manager, Andrew Cooke, who provides some insights into current projects and the latest news from the team.

Recently, 10 team members had the opportunity to participate as industry role models for the Australian Resources & Energy Employer Association’s (AREEA) Bright Future Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Program. Team members visited various schools across Melbourne and shared useful insights into their roles and careers to engage and inspire the next generation of STEM professionals.

We also highlight the career of Offshore Installation Manager, Matt Bullen, who discusses his contribution to ensuring a culture of inclusion and diversity as part of his role on ExxonMobil Australia’s Barracouta platform.

Many of our team members spend their free time volunteering in their local communities and in this edition you can find out about Gavin Foo and his important work as a seeing eye dog puppy raiser.
