ExxonMobil Qatar is pleased to announce the renewal of its three-year partnership with Teach For Qatar, reaffirming a shared commitment to strengthening the education sector and empowering future generations.

Since the collaboration began in 2014, ExxonMobil Qatar has supported Teach For Qatar’s mission to recruit, train, and develop exceptional educators who bring leadership and innovation into classrooms. Together, the partnership has supported more than 474 Fellows to complete their teaching and leadership journeys, positively impacting over 62,000 students in Qatar’s government schools.

The renewed agreement will enable Teach For Qatar to continue providing high-quality training and development opportunities for Fellows teaching key subjects such as Arabic, Math, Science, and English. It also creates space for new initiatives, including digital platforms such as Diwan Al Ta’aleem and advanced STEM-focused programs that align with Qatar’s educational priorities.

“Education is a cornerstone of sustainable development, and partnerships like this enable long-term investment in Qatar’s future,” said Taher Hamid, President and General Manager at ExxonMobil Qatar. “Our continued partnership with Teach For Qatar reinforces ExxonMobil Qatar’s position as a STEM partner of choice and a meaningful contributor to Qatar National Vision 2030—particularly the Human Development Pillar—as well as the Third National Development Strategy. We are proud to support Teach For Qatar’s efforts to equip teachers with the tools and capabilities needed to inspire and prepare the next generation.”

“Our partnership with ExxonMobil Qatar demonstrates a shared commitment to the next generation of Qatar’s leaders, its students. ExxonMobil Qatar’s continued support has allowed us to recruit, train, and place dedicated and passionate teachers into public school classrooms to motivate and inspire students to excel,” said Nasser Al Jaber, CEO at Teach For Qatar.

As Qatar progresses toward a diversified and knowledge-based economy, ExxonMobil Qatar remains committed to supporting initiatives that built human capital and foster innovation.
