Swinging golf clubs for a good cause

As an active and engaged member of the communities where we operate, ExxonMobil Hong Kong (EMHK) continuously seeks meaningful ways to give back. Our recent participation in two charity golf events reflects this commitment—bringing together colleagues, community partners, and like-minded individuals in support of impactful causes.

Building on our support for the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong’s (ADAHK) inaugural Charity Golf Day in 2024, EMHK was pleased to return this year with a colleague representing the organization on the course. The event not only raised funds to support artists with disabilities but also championed their creative aspirations and promoted greater social inclusion. Our partnership with ADAHK dates back to 2017 and has included initiatives such as donation box placements across our extensive network of Esso service stations in Hong Kong and showcasing the work of ADAHK artists on EMHK’s social media platforms, helping to amplify their talent and visibility within the community.

EMHK also marked a new milestone through its first collaboration with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Hong Kong at its Charity Golf Classic. Two colleagues proudly represented EMHK, taking to the greens in support of families navigating some of life’s most difficult challenges. Since 1996, RMHC Hong Kong has provided a “home away from home” for families with children undergoing medical treatment. Proceeds from this year’s event will contribute to the development of its new Kwun Tong House, enabling the organization to extend its reach and support even more families in need.

Wherever we operate, including Hong Kong, ExxonMobil remains deeply committed to corporate citizenship and community care. As we continue to strengthen long-standing partnerships while forging new ones, we are dedicated to creating positive, lasting impact—one swing at a time.
