ExxonMobil Australia is proud to once again support the Alannah & Madeline Foundation’s Christmas Appeal in 2024 in lieu of printing Christmas cards.

The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to keeping children and young people free from violence and trauma wherever they live, learn and play.

This year’s donation will support the supply of 30 Infant Buddy Bags, which provide essential items like nappies, baby wipes, a blanket and a soft toy, to families escaping domestic violence.

Having access to essential items provides comfort to mothers with infants in this situation, who often flee with just the clothes on their backs and minimal personal belongings.

According to the Foundation, family violence escalates over the holiday period, with approximately 30 children and babies being removed from violent homes each day.

ExxonMobil Australia Chair, Simon Younger, said, “We’re really impressed by the work the Alannah & Madeline Foundation does to support families in difficult situations.

“We’re glad to contribute funds towards making such a challenging time for victims slightly more comfortable with some essential products, especially at this time of year.”
