This edition of Connection highlights the official opening of our Hastings Generation Plant (HGP) facility at Long Island Point (LIP), which marks a significant milestone for Esso Australia, ensuring the continuation of a reliable supply of natural gas to Victoria. The plant will also generate enough electricity to power as much as half of all the homes on the Mornington Peninsula.
Mobil New Zealand’s relationship with charity partner KidsCan has gone from strength to strength since its establishment 2018, raising much needed funds for Kiwi kids in need. Watch the video which highlights the team’s recent warehouse volunteer day.
Find out about the fascinating career of engineer Eva Loo, currently acting as the Turrum Phase 3 Project Manager. With a final investment decision due soon, this project will bring online additional resources from the Turrum gas field, which will play a critical role in the continued supply of gas into the South-East Australia gas market.
Mobil Birkenhead in South Australia continues its support of the local community by sponsoring Mid Coast Surf Life Saving Clubs Group’s recent Amazing Race event. The event, which featured various activities designed to help participants build problem solving skills, was aimed at including, retaining and developing youth members.
