Cargo Field Operator, Indonesia

Before dawn breaks, Afifah Mutmainnah is up and working to ensure Indonesia’s energy continues to flow.

Afifah works as a cargo field operator at one of Indonesia’s busiest terminals, a floating storage and offloading facility, FSO Gagak Rimang, helping with work on decks as she monitors cargo being unloaded, helicopter landings, and gas testing. Being the only woman working aboard the offshore facility doesn’t stop her from thriving, blazing a trail for other women to follow in her footsteps.
