• Oct. 16, 2024In the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, ExxonMobil provided critical support to the affected communities and partners. These storms have caused significant damage across Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Hundreds of Exxon and Mobil service stations across the Southeast region were impacted. As a key presence in these areas, we’re committed to helping with recovery efforts.
ExxonMobil contributed $300,000 in disaster relief grants across the three states to support rebuilding. We provided $150,000 to the Volunteer Florida Foundation’s Disaster Fund, $75,000 to the United Way of North Carolina and $75,000 to the United Way of East Tennessee Highlands.
These grants reflect our commitment to supporting our communities and partners as they recover from these devastating storms.
Our community is resilient, and recovering will take time, but with donations like these and the support of companies like ExxonMobil, we are confident we will get there. This contribution will truly make a difference as we work to rebuild from the devastation Hurricane Helene has brought to our community.
We are immensely grateful to ExxonMobil for their generous contribution toward our Hurricane Helene relief efforts. This vital support will enable us to provide immediate assistance to affected communities, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to recover and rebuild.
I applaud ExxonMobil for answering the call and look forward to the many stories of relief and recovery that come from this act of kindness.
