Trading

The Trading group develops advanced, data-driven trading strategies that manage flexibility and opportunities within our own portfolio, as well as increase the value of our assets and portfolio positions. Trading is an invaluable part of the value chains, collaborating to build innovative commercial solutions, deep market understanding and grow value. Example roles: Trader, Senior Trader, Lead Trader, Commercial Coordinator

Origination

It starts with opportunity. Our origination group identifies and secures commodity flow opportunities that capture arbitrage, deliver portfolio synergies, create optionality, and generate value for the ExxonMobil trading portfolio. Example roles: Originator, Senior Originator

Trading Analytics

The Trading Analytics group pulls on deep understanding of energy markets and data to create insights which, in real-time collaboration with the trading teams, enable significant value capture in the market. In addition, our quantitative analysts apply econometrics, option theory, data science and mathematical modeling to value complex deals and develop sophisticated trading & risk management strategies. Example roles: Trading Analyst, Senior Trading Analyst, Quantitative Analyst
