Teacher STEM Training program

In collaboration with local universities, ExxonMobil plans to launch a Teacher STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Training program. We want to enhance the STEM knowledge of Houston-area middle school math and science teachers at Title I schools and inspire new ways of delivering STEM content to students. During this year-long experience, teachers will engage in sustained, research-based professional development opportunities and learn innovative instructional practices, all at no cost to the teacher.

Teen Engineering and Tech Centers (TETCs)

Our ExxonMobil Foundation Teen Engineering and Tech Centers (TETCs) will offer innovative after-school programming that will introduce students to STEM education and potential STEM careers at no cost to students or their families. The curriculum will connect a student’s passion to tangible career paths, while preparing him or her for success in school and beyond. The first TETC will open in the fall of 2024 in Spring, Texas, and a second facility will follow in Houston. Future plans call for opening centers in other communities where ExxonMobil operates.
