Nigeria

Our Nigerian upstream affiliates have been operating several joint ventures and deepwater production sharing contracts since 1955 and have had a downstream presence since 1907.

Mozambique

Investing in Mozambique in 2017, we hold a 25 percent indirect interest in Area 4 and will lead the construction and operation of future natural gas liquefaction facilities.

Angola

Signing our first production sharing agreement in 1994, we have interest in three deepwater blocks in Angola.
These blocks are estimated to have a gross recoverable potential of ~ 10 billion oil-equivalent barrels.

United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Discovered in 1963, the Upper Zakum oil field is the second largest offshore oil field in the world.
After becoming a partner in Upper Zakum oil field in 2006, we collaborated in incorporating a unique combination of technologies to increase recovery and optimize infrastructure.

Saudi Arabia

We have a long history of partnerships in Saudi Arabia since 1927. Today, through our 5 joint ventures with Saudi Aramco and SABIC, we participate in the petroleum refining and petrochemicals manufacturing industries in Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and China.

Namibia

We are leveraging our upstream experience in Namibia, specifically in the Namibe basin. Since acquiring a shared interest in three offshore blocks in 2019, we have been continuing with exploration efforts
