Load Port Data

The Ebok Terminal FSO (Floating Storage Offtake) is located within the Gulf of Guinea off the Nigerian coast at approximate center point position 4º 06' 04" N 8º 10' 29" E. The FSO is about 55 kilometres South East of Qua Iboe Terminal. The Terminal consists of a 12 point spread-moored floating storage and offtake [FSO] unit that has a design storage capacity of 1.2 million barrels of crude oil. Stabilised crude oil is delivered to the FSO via a dedicated 8” free catenary jumper hose which spans approximately 70m between the Mobile Production Unit and the FSO. Offloading of crude from the FSO to vessels is via a single 20” floating hose system at a maximum rate of 40,000 bbls/hour.

Export tankers up to a maximum deadweight of 300,000mt can be loaded at the FSO.

The Terminal is operated on a 24-hour schedule seven days a week throughout the year, operational circumstances permitting. Ships are berthed only during daylight hours but ships can unberth any time of the day. The Terminal will normally supply one or two tugs for assistance during the mooring operation and two hold the lifting vessel in position once mooring is completed.
