New SMART procurement platform

We would like to introduce the launch of a new platform that will enhance the way you collaborate with ExxonMobil Procurement in the future.

This new platform is called SMART by GEP® and consists of a single, unified cloud solution that will enable and promote collaboration between both parties under one integrated structure.

The system has many features that will allow users to perform key contracting activities in one centralized place. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Supplier Profile Management / Self service
  • Online bidding participation through formal invitations
  • Contract terms and pricing negotiations
  • General contract administration /ongoing maintenance
  • Tracking status of key contracting activities

ExxonMobil has implemented the use of this new technology globally throughout the summer of 2018 — once your ExxonMobil contact invites you to create a profile on the new platform, we request that you complete the following steps:

  1. Access the system and create a logon ID and password
  2. Validate information assigned under the provided profile
  3. Complete any additional mandatory fields as applicable
  4. Save a link to the platform as a favorite for future use
  5. Familiarize yourself with support contact information and training resources available in the platform

Please add the GEP.com email domain as a safe sender in your email inbox, to ensure you will receive notifications and emails from the SMART platform. No further action is needed until you receive an invitation from your ExxonMobil Procurement contact. Please note there are no costs or fees that you would incur for utilization of this new system.

More resources and information can be found on our website.

We are excited about the introduction of this new technology, and thank you in advance for your cooperation as we launch this new way of collaborating!
