Specific Requirements

Machine shop, NDT and Inspection services provider. Contractor may sub- contract  other companies in order to install, perform maintenance and repair a wide range of products which Wells department uses to support operations in Angola. 

The Systems to be supported shall include but not limited to the following:

• Equipment and Services that comply with Company and Industry standards
• Machine Shop Services for offshore oil well drilling industry
• Cut industry standard, API and proprietary connections for tubing, casing and drill pipe / collar
• Manufacture accessories, subs, cross overs, pup joints, etc.
• General fabrication work and weld on connectors for oil well drilling industry
• NDT and inspection services for all oilfield equipment
• Provide qualified & experienced machinists, turners, fitters, welders, inspectors and other labors

2. SCBA: Provision of yearly inspection and maintenance of the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) must be  carried out according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. SCBA is critical safety equipment designed to provide breathable air in atmospheres that are immediately dangerous to life or health.

3. Life Rafts: Provision of annual inspection and maintenance of the Life Rafts must be  carried out according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and applicable IMO resolutions. Life rafts are inflatable rubber boat used as a secondary means of escape in the event of an emergency onboard an FPSO.

Tenderers shall provide a complete, end-to-end solution, acting as the single point of responsibility and delivering all tasks necessary to execute the Services for Cleaning and Decontamination of NORM Contaminated Equipment.

The services and requirements include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Review of the equipment list, including dimensions, materials and operational condition;
• Initial sampling and radiological characterization of NORM-contaminated pipes (internal and external);
• Development and implementation of the most appropriate cleaning and decontamination method for NORM scale removal;
• Mobilization of all required equipment, qualified workforce, and a certified Radiation Protection Officer (RPO);
• Establishment of controlled areas, signage, and radiological monitoring systems;
• Execution of cleaning activities;
