Our Joliet refinery is located 40 miles southwest of Chicago, Illinois. On July 15, the facility lost power during a tornado, resulting in a shutdown. Stay up to date on the status of our operations at the site.

We’ve safely restarted select units at our refinery and are carefully ramping up production. We’re continuing to assess our equipment and working hard to resume full operations as safely and quickly as possible.

We’re grateful to those who worked to restore power to the site and our community. With power restored, we’re assessing the status of our equipment and working hard to resume operations as quickly and safely as possible.

We continue to assess damage to our equipment and have begun the work necessary to restart operations. At this time, we can’t speculate how long operations may be suspended.

We now have sufficient power to assess the damage to our equipment and begin the work to restart operations. As with any restart, safety will be our top priority.
