Our history
ExxonMobil's history in Hong Kong dates back to 1895 with the set-up of the Standard Oil Co. of New York (Socony) at The Praya, which sold mainly kerosene and lubricants under the Mobil brand name.

In Hong Kong, some of our businesses, such as Chemicals and Marine Fuels, market their products under the ExxonMobil brand. Chemicals also markets under product family brands, such as Exxsol and Isopar.
