Our partners are dedicated to reducing malaria's threat

Malaria is preventable, treatable and curable. Thanks to better awareness, prevention and treatment tools, malaria mortality rates have dropped by 50 percent worldwide since 2000.

Through our work in Africa and the Pacific Rim, ExxonMobil has seen first-hand the devastating toll malaria takes on individuals, families and economies. Our own workplace malaria control program has made significant progress. We have averted more than 2,000 cases of malaria since 2000, and no ExxonMobil employee has died of malaria since 2007.

Beyond our workplace initiatives, ExxonMobil invests in a range of programs that address critical challenges in the fight against malaria. Our partners are dedicated to reducing malaria’s threat.
