Offshore Installation Manager, Matt Bullen finds life on the Barracouta platform each day rewarding as he gets to work with skilled teams across the business, but he is also focused on the future, which is why he chose to become a part of the Inclusion and Diversity Council.

“Being a father of two, I want my kids to experience inclusive and diverse workplaces as the norm.  Being a part of this Council lets me impact the current landscape which assists workplace progression into the future,” Matt explained.

Matt’s career highlight to date is his involvement with the Cobia Restart Project.  When he’s not at work, Matt loves nothing more than surfing, playing guitar or camping with his young family.  He strives to achieve the work/life balance and is grateful of how our company has evolved over the years.

“We have a greater focus on our people and improving workplace culture, allowing everyone to bring the best versions of themselves to work,”

“The implementation of the I&D Council, along with the development of framework and strategies including greater Management ownership have allowed us to implement changes for the better,” Matt continued.

Matt recognises everyone has a part to play in our I&D journey, so he encourages everyone to challenge the status quo and to test their own biases.

“My dream is that the I&D Council is no longer needed as it will be ingrained into our fundamental fabric,” Matt concluded.
