We are working with our partners to expand the development of one of the world’s largest offshore oil fields. ExxonMobil is a strong supporter of Abu Dhabi strategy to increase the numbers of UAE nationals working in the industry. Since our entry into the Upper Zakum concession in 2006, we have provided some 5,000 days of training in the ExxonMobil technical training curriculum for ADNOC and its joint venture operating companies to develop their local resources and build their capacities.
ExxonMobil is also providing developmental assignments for UAE nationals in the ExxonMobil organization, allowing Emiratis to gain hands-on experience of our processes, technologies, mentoring and best practices sharing. To date, 41 Emiratis have had development assignments at ExxonMobil offices in Houston and around the world.
We are committed to making a positive and lasting contribution based on mutual trust and respect. Our affiliates in the UAE have a long history of supporting community programs such as INJAZ UAE, which is the local chapter of Junior Achievement and aims to increase the entrepreneurship and business skills of Arab youth; the Global Women In Management program, which focuses on building the next generation of women leaders from civil society; and the Family Development Foundation which empowers Emirati women by developing their abilities and competitive skills, and through supporting social and economic initiatives.

For convenience and simplicity those terms and terms such as Corporation, company, our, we and its are sometimes used as abbreviated references to specific affiliates or affiliate groups.
