Overview
ExxonMobil has had a continuous business involvement in Kazakhstan over 25 years, and is active in the development, production and transportation of oil and gas in Kazakhstan.
We are represented by the following active affiliates: ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Inc. (EMKI), ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Ventures Inc. (EMKVI) and Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company (MCPC).
ExxonMobil is committed to investing in the countries in which we operate, and in Kazakhstan, the company’s community programs focus on education, health and community development projects:
- Purchases medical equipment to Atyrau regional healthcare facilities
- Supports training of medical staff across disciplines to upgrade the quality of medical service including master classes for OB-GYN personnel to address maternal and infant mortality
- Sponsors medical students to address the shortage of specialized medical personnel in the region
- Sponsors national and international STEM-oriented olympiads and competitions
