Hospital equipment donations and emergency training

ExxonMobil continues to identify opportunities to contribute to the community’s health and access to medical care by making equipment donations and delivering emergency response training.

After careful assessment and interviews with the hospital staff, the company has made several donations of equipment to both the public hospital and private clinic in Rincon de los Sauces. Donations include a mammography scanner, an incubator, scanners, ultrasound machine, automatic defibrillator, chemical analyzer, x-ray light box, shock room bed, wheel chair, clutches, trauma set and other safety equipment.

Additionally, doctors were interviewed to understand opportunities for training based on the frequent types of emergencies they may see in urgent care. Together with local MOH, training was delivered by emergency response professionals in the field.
