Production and handling
Tapis crude is produced offshore in South China Sea, East of Peninsular Malaysia. Production is currently ~300kbd. ExxonMobil holds about 30% equity. EMEPMI is the terminal operator.

Load Port Data
The crude is loaded at Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal, Kerteh, Malaysia (4 Deg 29' N, 103Deg 24'E).

Typical characteristics
Tapis Blend is a high quality, extra light, low sulfur crude. It has a high quality clean products and conversion feed.
