Job role summary

Support Guyana oil and gas business analysis and reporting activities. Interface with Local Management, Operations team and various internal as well as external parties.

Job role responsibilities

  • Perform business analysis by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  •  Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
  • Assist in preparation of  quarterly / annual financial statements
  • Assist in preparation of Company Plan 
  • Work with Partners and the Government of Guyana on finalizing and communicating work plans and budget
  • Support external and internal audits
  • Increase productivity by developing automated accounting models and workbooks; coordinating information requirements
  • Work closely with various global support groups

Education and experience

  • Equivalent of a college degree (High school diploma and ACCA certification acceptable; 4-year college degree preferred)
  • Cost tracking, planning and stewardship experience 

Core competencies

  • Good interpersonal, written and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word,  Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and time constraints
  • Work well in a team based environment
  • Safety, Security and Controls awareness
  • Decision making and business judgment
