Careers at Canada sites

St. John's regional operations center

St. John’s is a thriving provincial capital of 200,000 with a vibrant arts and cultural scene. Great restaurants and nightlife are nestled near some of the world’s most ruggedly appealing natural beauty. The region’s resource potential has attracted the world’s major oil and gas companies and transformed the economy.

Our regional operations include the Hibernia Project, the region’s largest producer of oil, and the newest offshore development in the region, Hebron (a project similar in scale). Our geoscientists are actively evaluating future prospects in Newfoundland and Labrador offshore from the Jeanne d’Arc Basin to the Flemish Cap. These world class assets and prospects require top talent across many disciplines.

We operate in a sometimes-harsh and challenging marine environment. That means, as we say here, “all hands on deck”. Whether your background is in engineering, geoscience, IT or business, you’ll influence the way we deliver energy to the world. Make an impact. Join our effort to bring the latest innovation and technology to bear on solving the environmental and energy challenges of the future.

At ExxonMobil Canada, we’re looking for students, graduates and experienced professionals who are eager to take on exciting challenges. Positions we may hire for include:

  • Upstream Engineering Assistant
  • Logistics Analyst
  • Safety Technology Assistant
  • Operations Technician
  • Geoscience Assistant
