Upstream Nigeria honors employees through Advanced Skills Milestone (ASM)

18 ExxonMobil employees were recipients of the 2016 Advanced Skills Milestones (ASM) awards, which were presented to them in the first quarter of 2016.

As a key part of the Upstream Professional Development Program, the Advanced Skills Milestones (ASM) recognizes achievement and application of advanced skills. The ASM roadmap identifies both key technical and individual effectiveness skills that are needed to succeed. It also requires both depth and breadth across many skill areas.

The Upstream Engineering and Commercial Job Family Councils designed the Advanced Skill Milestones as defined targets for the development of advanced technical/ commercial skills that meet the current and evolving needs of ExxonMobil. The attainment of these milestones distinguishes employees, while developing organizational capability that differentiates ExxonMobil from its competitors.
