ExxonMobil affiliates participate in the 2016 Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry games

ExxonMobil affiliates' employees in Nigeria recently participated in the 2016 Nigeria Oil & Gas Industry Games (NOGIG), claiming the highest number of medals in the swimming contest. The company’s team won five gold, one silver and seven bronze medals respectively in the eleven different games at the annual competition, which was held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

After intense competition with participants from other companies, the ExxonMobil team clinched four gold medals, making them overall best in the swimming category. In the keenly-contested individual squash game, Oladotun Isiaka, General Manager, Deep Water Operation won the gold and bronze medals in the different competitive categories, while the male and female team won two bronze medals respectively.

The company won the silver medal in the golf tournament after an arduous contest with eight competitors from other companies. Both the male and female teams won two bronze medals each in the lawn tennis and table tennis categories respectively. In total, the company representatives won 13 medals making them the fourth overall best company in the competition.
