Production and handling
Kutubu Blend crude oil is produced in Papua New Guinea, comprising production from the Kutubu, Moran, Gobe Main and South East Gobe complex of fields. Production began in 1992 and currently averages ~36 kbd. ExxonMobil holds 18% interest in the field production mix with the balance of production shared between 8 other companies.

The crude is loaded at Kumul Marine Terminal in the Gulf of Papua.
