The goal of Think it Up is to establish a renewed sense of excitement for learning and focus on programs that are making a difference.
Launched by the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), the philanthropic arm of the entertainment industry and organization behind Stand Up to Cancer, Think It Up is a multi-year education initiative designed to harness the collective power of entertainers and mass media to build excitement for education as the pathway for success.
The initiative launched with a television “roadblock” – a special program that was broadcast simultaneously on major U.S. networks and cable providers – in September 2015. The telecast included real-world stories of educators making a difference, student-inspired projects narrated by celebrity spokespeople, and musical and comedic performances.
